US Civics Test 2025 ("the App") is a study tool for the United States naturalization civics test. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.
Specifically:
The App stores your study progress (which questions you have answered, your mastery level, and practice test results), selected state, representative name if entered, 65/20 mode preference, study streak, onboarding status, and free-tier session counters locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. This data:
The study content is bundled within the App and can be used without an internet connection. The App may open user-initiated external links, such as official USCIS resources, house.gov representative lookup, congressional or government reference sites, the Privacy Policy, the App's Terms of Use, and Apple's standard App Store EULA. Purchase and restore flows use Apple's App Store services.
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by USCIS, DHS, the U.S. government, Congress, house.gov, senate.gov, any state government, or any other government agency. The App is an independent study tool.
The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by virtue of collecting no data whatsoever.
If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL and the effective date will be updated. Since the App collects no data, substantive changes are unlikely.
